Below is a list of optional activities available for Tuesday, May 5th. Tungsten Automation will host one activity for you and your guest. You and your guest may choose the same or separate activities.
There are a limited number of spots for each activity, and reservations are first-come, first-served, so please make your selections early. If an activity is no longer listed on the registration site, it has reached capacity. Please select from the activities offered, and note in the comments if you would like to be placed on a waiting list for an activity that has reached capacity.
Please also be sure to take note of any physical restrictions listed in the activity descriptions. Some activities are subject to change based on weather conditions or if participant minimums are not met. All activity times are subject to change.

Catamaran Snorkel & Sail
Your catamaran sailing and snorkel adventure begins at the marina in Puerto Aventuras, located 20 minutes south from Playa del Carmen. Our professional and experienced crew will welcome you aboard and give you a safety briefing for all the activities of the tour and amenities of our luxury 65’ catamaran. We will set sail for the second largest barrier reef of the world which supports incredible coral heads and a breathtaking variety of sea life. While you enjoy your snorkel adventure under supervision of our dive masters and snorkel guides, our chef will be busy preparing a delicious meal for you. Back on board we serve you lunch with a variety of side dishes and tropical drinks from our full open bar. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely sail back along the beautiful Riviera Maya.

Restrictions: Guests must be in good mental and physical fitness for snorkeling and not under the influence of alcohol or any drugs/medications that might affect mental or physical abilities. Guests with heart, lung or circulatory issues may not snorkel. If taking medications under the care of a physician, doctor approval is required for snorkeling.


Tulum Mayan Ruins + Playa del Carmen
Experience the wonder of the ancient city of Tulum with our knowledgeable guides who, through colorful stories, will help you feel as if you are standing in Tulum in the 13th century. Our small group format and attention to detail will make your day memorable and educational as you walk through the Mayan’s most well-preserved and majestic ruins. In addition to the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the site on your own. Afterwards there will be an optional stop in Playa del Carmen where you can grab lunch or snacks and/or shop for souvenirs.

Return to hotel: 2:45 pm
Includes: Transfers, professional bilingual guides, bottled water, entrance fees.
What to bring/wear: Camera, non-slip shoes, biodegradable sunscreen, hat, cash suggested.
Restrictions: Guests must be in good health without mobility issues. Able to walk and stand for 1 hour minimum. No wheelchair accessibility.


Tulum Mayan Ruins + Playa del Carmen

Kantun-Chi Eco Park & Cenotes
Make an expedition to the "Xibalbá" or "Mayan Underworld". This activity will begin with a guided tour of the underground river and cave, followed by a tour of the 5 cenotes in the park, where you can explore and swim. The use of equipment during both activities is mandatory (mask, water shoes, safety helmet and life jacket for the river / life jacket, mask and snorkel for cenotes).

Included: Access to the natural reserve, specialized guide, lockers, lifejacket, safety helmet, water shoes, mask & snorkel, buffet lunch.
What to bring/wear: Swimsuit, comfortable clothes, sandals, bug spray, towel, cell phone with water case, cash suggested. Towels to be provided by hotel.
Restrictions: Sunscreen not allowed when swimming in the cenotes. Use of safety gear is mandatory.


Akumal Monkey Sanctuary + Playa del Carmen
Akumal Monkey Sanctuary is the only place in Mexico authorized with an educational primate bonding program! Live the Sanctuary experience! Meet, touch & learn from more than 50 rescued species (not just monkeys!), including macaws, snakes, and primates. Your tour supports efforts to keep rescued animals in a safe home. Akumal Monkey Sanctuary Tour is a fun and safe way to contribute to the welfare and conservation of endangered exotic and endemic wildlife. Afterwards there will be an optional stop in Playa del Carmen where you can grab lunch or snacks and/or shop for souvenirs.

ATV Mayan Jungle Adventure & Swim/Snorkel
Immerse yourself in a perfect blend of nature and adrenaline on this unforgettable snorkel and ATV adventure. Begin in the crystal-clear waters of a serene natural cove, where you’ll snorkel alongside vibrant tropical fish and explore rich marine biodiversity in calm, protected waters. The experience continues underground with a refreshing guided swim through striking limestone caverns, offering a cool, otherworldly contrast to the sunlit coast. Then shift gears for an exhilarating ATV ride through lush jungle trails, weaving through dense greenery and rugged terrain for a true off-road thrill. Between water and land adventures, you’ll enjoy time to relax and refuel with refreshing drinks and regional foods—making this tour an ideal mix of discovery, excitement, and authentic local flavor. *The order of activities may vary according to the day's operation and weather conditions. Restrictions: This tour is not recommended for people who suffer from severe physical / motor problems, or people who are not able to handle moderate physical activity, those with cardiac issues, or pregnant women. Basic swimming skills are required for snorkeling. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be able to participate in this tour.


Mexico Lindo Traditional Cooking Workshop
Mexico Lindo Cooking Is a culinary experience at the Riviera Maya, a wonderful and traditional Cooking class where the guest will travel to the authentic and traditional Mexican food from our ancients. You will learn in a real Mexican Kitchen along with our chefs, and listen some stories understanding our culture directly from a Mexican expert. After cooking a seven-course menu the guest will sit in our terrace where you will have a great gourmet lunch and spend a wonderful day surrounded by ancient trees and the peacefulness of the sacred land, with handmade tortillas and tequila.
